We are one of WA’s largest not-for-profit providers of residential aged care, home care services and retirement living, supporting individuals and communities in metro and regional areas for over 50 years.

At the heart of everything we do is one simple principle: we care about people.

It was this conviction that prompted members of the Baptist family of churches, concerned with the lack of accommodation and nursing facilities for the aged, to establish Baptistcare over 50 years ago. Since then, Baptistcare has grown to encompass 22 service locations and 12 residential aged care facilities across metropolitan Perth and regional Western Australia.

Today our quality care is provided by over 1,500 skilled and professional employees and more than 250 volunteers who are all dedicated to understanding what matters most to our customers and ensuring we deliver on this commitment every day.

Our commitment to quality

Baptistcare embraces quality as being about a customer’s experience and not just a compliance process. We are committed to meeting the individual needs, goals and preferences of the people who trust us with their care.

On 1 July 2019, the Australian Government’s quality standards and accreditation framework was replaced by the new Aged Care Quality Standards. The new standards will be applied to all aged care services including residential care and home care, and have been developed to empower aged care consumers by putting their needs at the forefront.
