Is There A Waiting Period?
There may not be a place available right away at the first residential aged care facility you select. It may be worth inspecting a few facilities nearby, to find out how well they suit your needs, if there are places available, and what sort of waiting periods may apply at each facility. Your Aged Care Assessment Team may also be able to provide more advice, if needed.
