I Am an Employer, How Can I Help My Staff?
Employee Assistance Program
Baptistcare’s Employee Assistance Program (EAP) is a way to provide the people in your organisation with techniques and strategies to:
- deal with change

- improve work-life balance.
Personal problems can have a serious effect on the work performance and safety of staff members, colleagues, and clients. Although not work-related, marital conflicts, family violence, bereavement, supporting family members who have a chronic illness, alcohol or drug problems or financial and legal concerns, can all impact on a person’s work performance and as a result directly impact on the safety and productivity of a workplace.
Baptistcare’s EAP service is confidential and cost-effective.
Advantages of an EAP to an employer
- Reduction in absence through sickness
- Increased productivity
- Fewer accidents and errors
- Fewer workplace conflicts
- Lower insurance premiums
- Improved risk management
- Improved retention of staff
