Governance

Baptistcare is an incorporated body under The Associations Incorporation Act 1969.

The majority of funding for Baptistcare is sourced from:

  • The Commonwealth Department of Health and Ageing
  • The Commonwealth Department for Veterans Affairs
  • The Western Australian Department of Health
  • The Western Australian Disability Services Commission
  • Resident and care recipient fees

Board members are appointed by the Baptist Churches of WA with constitutional objects, powers, rules and procedures. The Board, acting in a voluntary capacity, is responsible for governance and major directional policies, and employs a Chief Executive Officer to carry out these policies.
