Baptistcare Launch New Office

Baptistcare is officially launching its new Welshpool office on Friday, 14th October 2011 which has brought together all its support staff to one location in a completely open-plan arrangement; the teams having previously been located separately at Applecross and Rivervale.
Cynthia Clive, Chairperson of the Board of Baptistcare is looking forward to welcoming visitors to the building and officially opening the new office. Patron Pastor Graham Mabury will be among the special guests attending the opening and he will also be blessing the building.
At the event Baptistcare will also launch its Five Year Strategic Plan, new website, its Vision, Mission, and Values and its new name „Baptistcare Inc.‟. Baptistcare‟s original name was the „WA Baptist Hospital and Homes Trust Incorporated‟.
“The new office has been a wonderful space in which to bring people together,” says Baptistcare CEO Dr Lucy Morris.
“It‟s the start of the next chapter for Baptistcare and I am very excited about the opportunities being generated by all of the teams coming together.”
Expected to attend the launch are Baptistcare staff and board members, the Baptist Churches Western Australia, many of Baptistcare‟s colleagues and friends in the community services sector, the building design team and suppliers, government representatives and other industry providers.
Guests will be entertained with live music and refreshments.
