The Federal Government's package of reforms for aged care in Australia are a positive step forward for all the providers and consumers around the country who have been lobbying hard for years to improve services to older Australians.

Three of Baptistcare’s Bassendean Community Living residents Carin Post, Michelle Buckland and Jenny Willey have recently enjoyed their first trip to Bali together with the help of their support workers Susanne Simpson and Margaret Richardson.

The community of Serpentine Jarrahdale have come together through the painting of a mural and the donation of a bus for the residents at Baptistcare’s Graceford Residential Aged Care facility.

Capecare Ray Village opened their home and their hearts to Baptistcare residents and staff last week as bushfires threatened our Mirrambeena residential aged care facility in Margaret River.

Baptistcare officially opened its new Welshpool office last Friday, 14th October 2011.  The new office has brought together all the support staff in an open plan arrangement from its Applecross and Rivervale offices.

Baptistcare has partnered up with Technology Assisting Disabilities WA (TADWA), an organisation which aims to assist the quality of life for people living with disabilities through the use of technology.

Residents and staff of Graceford Hostel in Byford had the pleasure of celebrating for the first time, a 100th birthday of one of its residents on Friday 17 June 2011.
